The Last Post

Just wanted to put an official ending to this blog... If you didn't know, I'm a married man now.  So I've decided to join blogs with Mrs. Autumn Boren.  For my faithful followers, you can check out our new blog at www.trekx-boren.blogspot.com.  Thank you for reading and praying for us up to this point.  All the info from this blog will be transported into the new one, so it'll still be available.  Thanks again for all.

Too many trips to this place

As for Puerto Rico, please know that your prayers are so
appreciated.  We got to work in the same school that we did last
year during our trips.  The group served the school by working on
a guard shack and cleaning the school grounds, then.. throughout
the day (during lunch hours and after school), they were able to
spend time playing games, sharing their faith, singing songs, and
making relationships with the students.  Working with the people at
the school while working for them was such a blessing.  Other
days were spent evangelizing/prayer walking throughout the
morning before the afternoon was spent showing the group
Arecibo, PR.  Our group received exposure to many beliefs from
Jehovah Witness’s to hardcore Catholicism.  I know the group
went away different, but our prayer is that the change is not just
temporary.  I actually visited their group leader this week because
his son is considering coming to Nashville for Trek-X next year.
He told me they had a great service at their home church in
Gentry, AR where many members of the group shared not only
what they saw the Lord do there, but also what they know the Lord
did in their own life as a result of going to Puerto Rico.  Thank you
again for praying for the trip and for me throughout the whole process.

Keep praying for the work that's being done in Puerto Rico.  Our time at the school has opened up the door for the local pastor to minister among the students and faculty at the school.  He is actually getting to do counseling.  It's really exciting to see the Lord use the time at the school.  Nevertheless, please continue to pray for the work in Puerto Rico.  We want to see the Lord highly lifted up there.  Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in seeing the gospel go.
